Intuitive Painting

I create art as a way of connecting with what is real within me. Through colour, movement and intuitive expression, I allow the work to emerge without judgement or the need to control the outcome. My art is a process of letting go — quieting the noise, stepping away from expectations and reconnecting with the freedom to simply create. Each piece becomes an exploration of emotion, energy and the deeper truths that can surface when we give ourselves permission to be fully present and authentic.

The Process

Let Go
I begin without a fixed idea of what the painting should become. I let go of judgement, expectations and the need to control the outcome.

Follow the Intuition
Using acrylic inks on Yupo paper, I allow the ink to move, merge and react naturally. I follow what feels right in the moment, trusting my intuition rather than trying to make everything perfect.

Draw from Nature
I am often drawn to coastal colours — the blues, greens, sandy tones and earthy hues found in the ocean and landscape. Nature becomes an inspiration and a way of reconnecting with something deeper.

Allow the Painting to Emerge
As I become absorbed in the process, I enter a state of flow. I stop judging and simply respond to what is unfolding. The finished work is not something I have completely planned; it is something I have allowed to emerge.
